Hi, I’m Caelan. I’m an American dual citizen in New Zealand.
I help professionals become proficient AI operators so they can think faster, create smarter, and lead with confidence into the future of work.
I am a dynamic speaker, trainer, and business coach, who combines the skills of a theatrical performer and technical geek to make compelling educational experiences. I was classically educated at St John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, so I see the fast-moving world of technology through the perspective of the humanities.
A decade as a digital nomad taught me how to build businesses that move as freely as their founders. My book Marketing Yourself was published in August of 2022 (five months before ChatGPT!) and my digital marketing agency Stellar Platforms helped experts and entrepreneurs to grow their impact, income, and influence through smarter systems and standout storytelling.
As a former circus acrobat and street performer, I bring showmanship and play to the serious business of skill-building—turning every keynote, workshop, and training session into an engaging experience.
My AI training workshops are fast-paced and hands-on—packed with prompts, games, and experiments that leave participants feeling empowered to use Ai in their daily tasks.

“Daddy, what’s a gun?”
My 6-year-old girl really didn't know. While discussing the differences between policemen and firefighters, I used a word Indilea had never heard before. She has acquired the excellent habit of asking for the meaning of any word she doesn't understand. "What's a gun?" she [...]
Finally! Back online.
There are some things Costa Rica does really, really well. Beaches. Palm trees. Friendly strangers. Crazy animals and fruits. But the internet? That's a problem. There's a maxim here that goes, "Costa Rica is ten years behind the United States." With fashion, with technology, [...]
For the next week, I’m going to bed early.
This is a pretty heavy commitment for me. I generally work 4-5 nights a week, after the kids are off to bed, from 7:30 to 10 or 11. Many Saturdays I work in the afternoon, as well. Once or twice a week, I stay [...]
When Indilea grows up…
I ask my daughter, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" "A dolphin flying squirrel trainer." Of course.
Bugs visit my desk.
Its always fun to get unexpected visitors on my desk in Costa Rica.
